Goodbye “Atlanta Copywriter!”

Hello SEO training atlanta

What is your favorite part about being an online business owner?

If you’re like me you find there are too many benefits to enumerate. But one of those that I can readily point to is the ability to change, to evolve as quickly or slowly as you want.

I experienced a major professional evolution recently. For a few months now I’ve had a sweet gig in-house as an SEO consultant with a start-up in Atlanta. I’m charged with running and growing the SEO department until they decide they’re ready to hire someone full time.

Demand for navigating the crazy world of SEO is high. It’s profitable and fun. I have a passion for it and I’m good at it. And because I’m a believer in focusing on core strengths and outsourcing the rest, I’ve made the decision to put copywriting, my first love, on the backburner. And focus solely on SEO consulting and training (workshops, courses, ebooks, etc.).

Hello “SEO Training Atlanta!”

Changing my business means saying goodbye to “Atlanta Copywriter” and hello to “SEO Training Atlanta.”

The painful part is turning away copywriting referrals, repeat business, former clients, and colleagues who knew me as a copywriter. You’re probably one of those people who have been so good to me over the past few years. And that’s really the point of this post.

To thank you for helping me live my dream. If I can ever help you along the path to your dreams, please let me know HOW and WHEN. I’ll be here.

I have really ambitious new plans in the works. Scary new goals. Exciting revelations. And I’d love to share them with you when the time is right. Signing up for my SEO news is probably the best way to stay in touch.

Really excited for you Jenny as you make this transition. I believe you’re going to do really well and find that there is a large spectrum of individuals, present company included, who could always stand to become increasingly knowledgeable about all things SEO. Continued success to you!

Ben, you’re the best! Thanks so much for this nice comment. I’ve been really enjoying your weekly newsletter BTW. I’d love to increase my frequency to be more than monthly but have to do so slowly so I don’t freak out my subscribers. 🙂 Anyway, do love the very personal, friendly tone and voice of your e-newsletter. Talk soon and thanks again.

Thank you Jenny. You’re much too kind! I appreciate your gracious sentiments about the newsletter. Still very much a work in progress. Just purposed in my mind that I would do it and be consistent at it. My mantra for this year ‘just ship it!’ and don’t worry if it’s ‘good enough’. You always send out fantastic content and I was just reading through your stuff today. You definitely won’t freak me out : ) I really do need to get down there for a training. I keep getting SEO-related requests and enjoy implementing what I do know and seeing the needle move for different individuals. Yes, talk soon!
